Increase Organic Traffic with these 13 Methods

Organic traffic is very important to any type of websites. It could be your business portal or personal blog that you want to see improvement in traffic generation from better organic traffic, or have limited budget for advertised traffic . Not to worry,  I going to share with you how to increase your organic traffic with methods that you can used right away and see results in the next few weeks. 

1) Create Quality Contents Consistently

The keywords are ALL of the above.  But remember, QUALITY supercedes frequency. If you are starting a new blog,  Try to write and publish new decent quality content as often as possible, I would suggest daily or every 2 days. I know it's sound daunting to some and questions of what should I write about? How to find topics to write will starts popping in your mind? These problems can be easily resolved which I shared over here.

You need to do this because you need your website to be index by google and showing daily updates or frequent updates will get google to notice your contents and index them faster. Your content will be available to your readers or customers.

Once you generate a handful of articles, it is time to build your epic quality content. By Epic, I mean content with at least 1500 words of quality information that visitors are looking for and will go WOW! This is useful! 
Increase organic traffic with more quality contents you have on your website or blog the more opportunities you create for organic traffic to come your way.

2) Use Internal Links

This is really important aspect of increasing organic traffic time spent on your website. You will need to create a network of internal links for related or similar contents in your blog or site. This will reduce the bounce rate of your website and Google does take notes of such engagement and will decide if you content is what people are really looking for. Over time, it will increased your SERPs.

3) Share Your Content

Since you have created a great quality content, isn't it right to share it with your circle of friends and networks? Go, broadcast and share your content on your own personal blog, Facebook, Linken, Google+, Twitter and pinterest account that you have.

4) Off Page SEO

WordPress is a very popular blogging platform that has been used by millions around the world for FREE. If you don't know, if this is the platform you are on, check with your IT guy. Before you post any contents, do your keyword research. Have a list of ready keywords that you have proudly discovered and using it to optimize your website.
Use your list of keywords on your homepage, header tags, meta-description and in the URL of pages throughout your website. Be sure to avoid “keyword-stuffing” while keeping your website organized and easy to navigate.

5) Use Long Tailed Keywords

When you place long tail keywords throughout your web content, search engines will list your website on its results pages whenever web visitors search for your particular keywords. That’s why it’s important to choose long tail keywords instead of short keywords. For long tail keywords will have a better combination of the words searchers type into the search engines.

Don’t just go with the most popular keywords in your market. Use keywords that are more specific to your product or service. In time, Google and other search engines will identify your website or blog as a destination for that particular subject, which will boost your content in search rankings and help your ideal customers find you.

6) Guest Blogging

One tactic that you can used to get maximum exposure is to do guest posting. Look for fellow bloggers that have a large readership, always hungry for contents. Build rapport and relationship with the blogger or owner. Share with them your content and find out how they feel about it and gather feedback. If they like your writing style,  suggest a chance to work together where you can do guest posting for them.  This will help in smoothing the process of doing guest posting . Usually, they will agree. (From the SEO perspective, this is also beneficial your site and it will help to generate better organic traffic. You are building some links with fellow bloggers similar to your niche) You will be able to drive traffic from their site to your site.

7) Interacting with Other Bloggers

Engage in conversation with other well-known bloggers of your blog topic. People may starts noticing you and will be curious and take interest in what you have to share and visit your site. The blogosphere is a reciprocal sort of place. Read, comment and link to other people’s sites and blogs, particularly those operating in your market, and they’ll hopefully read, comment and link to yours, attracting more prospects.

8) Engage Social Media

Use social media to promote your contents. People will start sharing your content if they find it good and worth it to share with their friends. This is what I called, the social viral effect that once trigger is unstoppable.  You will be surprise of increasing organic traffic with this method.

9) Leverage On Your Metrics

Understand your visitors by using webmaster tools like Google Analytics to track visitors to your website and blog. You will be surprise and thrill to see where they come from and what keywords they searched for. This allows you to fine-tune your content and make the right adjustments for your content.

10) Building Incoming Links

Links are favorable in Google’s eyes. Google priorities websites that have a lot of quality incoming links. They’re viewed as evidence that your site is popular and important to people. As I have shared with you earlier, guest blogging is a great way to build links. This is because you’re embedding a link, which links back to your site, within the blog post. You need to take note of this, for your best interest, please place links on sites that are in good standing with search engines.

Tip: Encourage your friends, family, customers, clients, suppliers, vendors, fellow bloggers - anyone to link to your site. 

11) Mobile Age

Make sure that your website is mobile, tablet friendly. With the latest Google Panda updates, more emphasis are placed on a mobile friendly website that delivers decent user experience. More and more people are using their mobile phones to search for information and If you website is not mobile optimize, it will greatly affect the time spent of your website and over time, decrease your organic traffic. 
Even though, there are many free mobile themes available but they are not properly designed for SEO or built by reputable software houses. 12) Create Useful Contents

Understand your visitor demographics, their persona and give your readers what they want– quality advice, information and insight. Provide them with a positive experience from visiting your site.

13) Create Videos

Create personal videos or tutorials that are related to your blog or business. Post them on video hosting sites and include a reference to your blog. This will increase your organic traffic from visitors looking for videos.
